For many people who suffer with stigma of depression it often comes with feelings of shame and guilt. When we have these feelings often it keeps us from seeking treatment.

Many of us misunderstand depression. Most everyone suffers some type of mental trauma in their life. Depression is almost as common as a cold.

Clinical depression and stress is a real illness , just like a diabetes, astima, or allergies. If people take medicine for those, why can't we take medicine for our depression and anxiety and stress. People may say "snap out of it", but do they say that to people with diabetes?
