Holiday Stress Management
Have you tried coping with holiday stress?
It can be very overwhelming.
Whether it is Easter, Thanksgiving or Christmas.
If you have invited family and/or friends over just getting your house ready for company can be too much.
Preparing all the food can be very stressful too. You want everything perfect! Below are a few holiday stress tips I practice during the holidays.
- Exercise before and during holidays. You may be concerned about gaining holiday weight. If you just park further away from the entrance of the store-that will make a difference. Every extra step counts. Go for walks, weather permitting or go to the gym. Nature can be a very helpful tool.
- Plan your budget. Have a set amount in your budget for food and gifts. Half the stress of the holidays is in the spending of money. If you have a set figure in mind, stick to it, so you are not overwhelmed with over spending.
- Learn your limits. Learn to say "no" to people. If your schedule is filling up with dinners or parties learn to say no to that one party too many.

Make it the best you can by taking care of one's self.
Find holiday stress relief. It is important not only to those around you, but to yourself, too!
