Major Causes of Stress
Anything can be a stress for you.
If just depends on how you react it.
There are many stresses in everyday life.
Let's take a look at some of the major causes of stress.
- Work. We wake up, go to work, go home. We usually do this at least five days a week. All the hours at work, projects, bosses, co-workers, etc...can really stress you out. Try to change-up your routine. Sometimes it is the routine that stresses you out. Try driving a different way to/from work,. Try going outside of the office to eat lunch or on your break take a smalll walk around the parking lot.
- Money. Money makes the world go around. We need it. Money is part of everyday life. Try to save as much as you can to help with a rainy day. Plan a budget and stick to it. You will be surpriised at how much stress is released.
- Death of a loved one or friend. This is a very stressful time. It brings sadness and tears to our life. Try to celebrate the person's life, and not dewell on their death. When my Dad passed away in January of 2006, I celebrated his memory. He had been battling cancer for seven years and was very sick during that time. I celebrate his life before cancer. That is how I wanted to remember him!
- Being a parent. Kids can give us a lot of pleasure, but they can also give us gray hair! The stress of raising a child can be overwhelming. You worry about the choices they make in life, school, health, etc...try to take it just one day at a time. Just take life with kids as it comes.

Well, there you have it. Just a few of life's biggest stresses. I am sure there a few you could add to the list. The best piece of advice I can give you is just take it one day at a time!
